Martens has, in collaboration with the contractor, taken care of the design, supply and installation of five shafts in a business complex in Kerkrade.
The shafts are each 18800mm high.
These shafts are made of rectangular precast concrete elements, each approximately 2500mm high, 7000mm long and 3000mm wide. One element weighs approximately 24 tons.
This method of shaft construction, which Martens is specialized in, has led to a sharp reduction in construction time. Through its specialty Martens is able, together with you, to design and deliver the right solution for each shaft (and corresponding lift pit).
